Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2016

Red carpet season is here! I love seeing all of the beautiful gowns and gorgeous designs that fill the red carpet each season for the awards shows. As soon as the red carpet ended, I sketched some of my favorites (see below)... there is nothing I love drawing more than beautiful dresses! If I had to choose a "best dressed" from last night, it would definitely be Kate Bosworth in her stunning, strapless, sparkling gown by Dolce & Gabbana. For such a big awards show, I love when actresses and celebrities choose something that really does stand out like Kate's did. It was just sparkly and special enough, yet the silhouette kept it refined and and not too "over the top." For a 360 look at her gorgeous dress, go to her instgram here

Take a look at some of my sketches of my other favorites last night:

Zendaya in Marchesa

The fit and color of this dress were PERFECT for Zendaya. She looked stunning in the deep red/ crimson color, and the lace was beautiful. I also loved the oversized ruffles of the skirt. This Marchesa gown was gorgeous on her!

Olivia Palermo in Delpozo

Olivia Palermo really can't do anything wrong in my eyes. I do kind of wish that she had worn a long gown, but I love that she chose something a little different. I loved the bold color block pattern. The gold necklace she paired with it was stunning too. I loved her whole look!

Jennifer Lawrence in Dior

Jennifer Lawrence wowed everyone in this red cut-out gown by Dior. It was absolutely perfect on her- the fit, the color, the bold simplicity.. everything!

Kate Bosworth in Dolce & Gabbana

My personal favorite of the night! I seriously could not take my eyes of the glittering and sparkling fabric. The red, pink, and black combination of the sequins was stunning!

Jenna Dewan Tatum in Zuhair Murad Couture

The color and fit of this dress were gorgeous on Jenna. I loved the pattern of the sequin embellishments and detailing! The flow was so elegant, and the full skirt and pleating was too. The deep blue was perfect for a winter awards show!
