Draper James Tailgate Collection 2016 [Part 1]

Have y'all heard about Reese Witherspoon's clothing brand Draper James?! If not, you are surely missing out! As a southern girl and huge fan of Reese myself (I think I can quote every single line of both Legally Blonde 1 and 2), I was completely smitten when I first saw her collection of fashion and lifestyle items a little over a year ago. I fell even more in love when I saw the photos of the Draper James 2015 Winter Lookbook shot at The Greenbrier- the blending of so many of my favorite things! Every time I am in Nashville, the Draper James store in 12th South is a stop I cannot miss (you have probably seen it on my instagram before)! The stunning interior design by Mark Sikes makes you feel right at home and is a heaven for blue and white lovers like myself (see here)!

Needless to say, when Draper James reached out about collaborating, I was beyond ecstatic to share more about their latest Tailgate Collection with you! With the arrival of fall, comes so many sporting events, and with all the sports comes tailgating! With their tailgate collection, Draper James has also designed several items in their beautiful "Jukebox Check," perfect for Alabama fans like myself. The black and white patterned cape with the pretty, subtle houndstooth print around the collar is a gameday must have! When I was putting together this outfit, I felt like I was blending a little bit of Melanie Carmichael in Sweet Home Alabama with Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Remember Melanie's chic turtleneck look on the cover? Such a classic!

The printed cape is such a chic outerwear piece for fall/winter and is one that can definitely take you from gameday to everyday and through the holidays! Capes are always fun items to wear not only because of their pretty billowy shape but also because they are SO easy and comfortable.
