Happy Monday! Can anyone else believe that September is nearly over and October 1st is this week?! Where did September go!
Fall is coming very quickly, and I’m looking forward to be heading back to Alabama this week to experience some cooler fall weather. I can talk about fall fashion all day long but truth is- it is still very very warm here in Florida. I’m still living in sleeveless tops, dresses, shorts, and sandals, but to be completely honest… I wouldn’t have it any other way. No complaints about the sunshine! But it will be nice to have a change for a few days :)
This morning I woke up extra early and headed to the beach just in time for sunrise… and it was truly breathtaking. One of those moments where I was truly pinching myself that I get to call this beautiful island home. While fall definitely looks a bit different in South Florida, I am soaking up every minute of it!

4. What do you think about wearing white after Labor Day? For me, there are no real rules in fashion. Wear what feels most YOU and what YOU feel confident in. I absolutely positively wear white after Labor Day (you can probably find me wearing white every week of the year) and absolutely believe you can do the same. The thing I pay more attention to is fabrics. It’s not really about color to me but more about the weight of fabrics and their texture. While I definitely wear white year round, I trade in eyelets and linens for heavier fabrics like silk or wool during the winter months. There is nothing more chic to me than a monochromatic winter white look! Maybe I’ll share a post on that in the coming months!
5. What are your top 5 fall wardrobe essentials? Wow, that is tough to narrow it down but I would say- 1. Neutral Sweater (like this one), 2. Plaid Blazer (like this one), 3. Booties (like these), 4. Sneakers (like these under $150), 5. Midi Dress (how chic is this!).
