Monday Q&A No. 14

Outfit pic from this post/ shoot with Neely and Chloe.

Happy Monday! Can y’all believe we are starting week EIGHT of quarantine? As the days continue to pass, I am constantly reminded of how grateful I am for the little things, for this unexpected time with family, and for the gorgeous weather this season has brought amidst the heaviness around us. And also truly so thankful for this space I get to share with y’all! Thank you, thank you for being part of this community and coming to my site each day. This space has always been such a bright and creative escape for me… but especially so over the past couple months!

Now, time to jump into today’s Q&A! If you have any questions you’d like me to answer, send them over via DM (@lcbstyle), email (caroline@lcbstyle.com), or comment below!

Q&A

1. What are your favorite swimwear brands? When it comes to swimwear, much like the other items in my closet, I usually go for quality over quantity. I usually only purchase 2-4 new suits a season but have worn some of my favorite swimsuits for 5+ years. With that being said, my go-to brands for new swimsuits are Tory Burch, Marysia, Vitamin A, Mara Hoffman, Eberjey, L*Space, J. Crew, and She Made Me (for crochet swim)….. Linking 19 favorites below.

2. What are your favorite YouTube accounts to follow? Currently loving Architectural Digest for home tours, Business of Fashion for the latest in the fashion industry, Fohr for influencer updates/insight, Vogue for beauty videos, and Romee Strijd for the best vlogs!

3. What are your thoughts on Masterclass? I mentioned on my IG story that I have been loving the newest Masterclass courses released over the past few months. It has been so incredible to learn from fashion and design experts like Anna Wintour and Kelly Wearstler… and get a little insight into the way they think and how they have gotten to where they are in their careers. It’s such a rare chance to hear/ learn first hand from them! I think Masterclass has done an incredible job filming the best of the best in various industries and making these videos accessible to so many. While these courses don’t necessarily go super deep nor are they super long, I do think they are worth it! I think Masterclass is one of those things, like a lot of things in life, that you get out of it what you put into it. If you are multitasking and just listening to these videos in the background, you probably won’t take very much away from them. But if you follow the learning guides and invest time in the course, I think they can be super beneficial! If you are not ready to invest in an online course like Masterclass, I would do some deep diving on YouTube and listen to other interviews and things with those that are experts in your career field!

4. Do you have ideas for “big presents”/ luxe graduation gifts from my parents and family? I have gotten this question from several readers, and first I want to say CONGRATS! Second, I know this is such a crazy time to be graduating- going through all the emotions of life changes plus the weight of everything else happening in the world has to be A LOT. My heart has been especially heavy for high school and college seniors in this season facing so many changes and so much unknown at once. I hope that you have been able to celebrate with friends and family either in person or virtually to mark this special time in your life. All that to say, I hope this year’s graduates remember the little things, the small joys, and the bright moments in this time amidst all the change!

And of course, always have a few fun luxe gifts on my mind…

5. Recommendations for blue shoes for brides? Oooh yes… TBH couldn’t find a ton in stores right now but linking some favorites below and will keep an eye out for more!
