NYFW: Camilyn Beth Dress
I can’t believe today is already Wednesday and day three of recapping my NYFW outfits here on the blog (see day one here and day two here). This week is flying by, and I am counting down the minutes until a really exciting event tomorrow night (hint hint: meeting one all time favorite actresses and entrepreneurs).
In other news.. let's talk about another amazing female entrepreneur for a minute. Are you familiar with Camilyn Beth? If not, you definitely should be! She is a fashion designer based in Sarasota, Florida who creates gorgeous, timeless, feminine dresses perfect for weddings (bridesmaid dresses included), special occasions, and everyday wear (if you are feeling a little fancy).
The story behind her brand: after being invited to 16 weddings in one year, Camilyn put her previous experience in the fashion industry to use and designed her own dresses for each wedding. Soon afterwards, she launched her own line of dresses and has been living out her fashion dream ever since. What I admire most about her brand is their focus on sustainability- creating dresses out of the finest fabrics/materials and manufacturing them right here in the USA.
Camilyn Beth’s team was so kind to reach out and offer to send me a dress of my choice... just in time for fashion week! After browsing all their pretty designs here, I decided on the “Go Go Dress” because of its pretty ruffled neckline, polished look, and back detail (I wish we had gotten a better photo of it for this post- see a peek here).
