NYFW: Little White Dress

DRESS: YUMI KIM | BLAZER: LIONESS | SHOES: SAM EDELMAN | BAG: FURLA | EARRINGS: LELE SADOUGHI (C/O LOLA AND LINA) | WATCH: MICHELE (C/O) |

Happy Monday! I am back from NYC (what. a. week.) and so thrilled to highlight five different outfits I wore in the city with you on the blog this week. Each day I will be sharing one of my outfits from fashion week, more details on each look, and highlights from each of my days in NYC!

The first outfit I want to share with you is what I wore on my first full day in the city. Friday was filled with several events and a few shows scattered across Manhattan, so I knew comfort would be key for such a busy day (I wore this dress from 7am to midnight and was so thankful to have an outfit that was a. so comfortable and b. transitioned seamlessly from day to night). I found this dress and this blazer right before my trip and loved the sweet, feminine look of them paired together. Both are incredibly comfortable, and the fabric of this dress is much softer than I imagined from the pictures online. I was imagining a more polyester/ stiff feel but it is actually very silky and soft. The long sleeve style and light, breezy fabric could not be more perfect for transitional weather- a great dress for gamedays and other fun fall events. It’s definitely a dress you could wear over and over and accessorize a million ways (as I’m sure I will be doing in the coming weeks). The dress also looks just as pretty dressed down with sneakers or booties (I switched out heels for sneakers for running around the city). Shop the dress here in two colors!

Now about this blazer- I received several comments/ questions about it on Instagram this past week. At $88, it is such a steal and comes in navy, black, and white too. Fall is the season of blazers, and this pretty pink one is the perfect feminine outerwear piece to layer with so many looks- dresses, jeans, skirts, etc.

As far as highlights from my first full day in the city go- I’m not even sure where to begin. I guess I could begin by saying everything about NYFW felt like a dream. And I feel like I’m beginning to over use that word, but I’m honestly not sure how else to explain it. Running around, exploring the city, getting to meet friends in person that I have emailed 992498x, seeing some of the most gorgeous fashion designs and new collections up close, admiring the street style, being in the middle of all the fashion excitement… I could go on and on. It was just the best, and I tried my very hardest to soak up every minute of it.

P.s. I have received quite a few questions about the fit of this dress, and I would say it runs true to size; I am wearing the XXS.
