10 Denim Skirts for Spring
While the denim skirt trend has been on the rise for several years now, it has taken me a while to jump back on board with it. Until a few weeks ago, when I thought of denim skirts, I thought of my first day of middle school- walking into Mtn. Brook Junior High in my brand new True Religion jean skirt that I wore on repeat probably once or twice a week for three years straight. I would like to think my style has evolved since I was 13, but sometimes you have to go back to the basics… and the denim mini will forever be a tried and true staple of mine.
Let me tell you, I am so happy to finally add this denim mini (under $100) to my closet. I have already worn it 3 times in the past week, and I am sure it will be heavily on rotation over the coming months. A denim skirt is as easy as slipping on a pair of jean shorts (my ultimate summer go-to when it gets super hot) but feels a little more feminine and put together. I love that denim is a fabric that wears with you and can be easily transitioned from season to season and day to night.
For today’s look I paired this denim mini with a new lilac favorite from Tibi. When I received this tank as a gift (thank you, Tibi team!), I was smitten with the unique cutout and tie back style. During the hot summer months, I continually reach for comfy cotton tops and love that this tank is as easy to throw on as a basic tee but adds a little twist and more detail to an outfit. It also comes in a few more colors here. This outfit was perfect to throw on for a day shopping and exploring Palm Beach during my stay at The Colony Hotel (the location of these photos)!
If you have yet to give the denim skirt a try, I highly encourage you to do so. I promise you won’t regret it. I just ordered this white denim mini (25% off today with code HOORAY), because, quite honestly, I can’t get enough of denim skirts right now.
