Palm Beach Travel Diary [iPhone Photos]

Back home from five fabulous days in Palm Beach, and I'm excited to share a few peeks into my trip with y'all! For someone who loves color, sunshine, and the ocean as much as I do, Palm Beach is a dream. Throughout the weekend, I continually caught myself looking around in wonder at the abundant flowers, gorgeous architecture, blue ocean, sunny skies, and endless rows of palm trees wondering how this place is even real!

To kick things off, I thought it would be fun to share a "diary style" round up of my favorite moments from this past weekend. Today's post is filled with only iPhone pictures (which is a bit different from my usual outfit posts and travel guides filled with DSLR photos), but I thought it would be a great (less edited/ candid) way to give you an overview of my time in Palm Beach. I'll be diving in deeper and covering each of my outfits and my stay at the gorgeous Colony Hotel in more detail over the coming days!

THURSDAY

[LEFT]: Packing up a few favorite beauty items in my Airline Zip from MB GREENE
[RIGHT]: Pink & yellow #ootd for my flight to Palm Beach. This tote and this rolling carry-on are two of my most used travel bags.

[LEFT]: Sunny skies headed south.
[RIGHT]: Arriving at the gorgeous Colony Hotel!

[LEFT]: Checking in and welcomed by pretty prints, blooming flowers, and the sweetest smells in The Colony Hotel's lobby.
[RIGHT]: Lots of mirror selfies were taken in The Colony's ornate elevators over the weekend.

[LEFT]: Shot lots of outfit photos with the sweet and talented Christina Cernik (can't wait to share soon) Thursday afternoon, and the private pool at the Villas at The Colony Hotel was one of my favorite photo backdrops!
[RIGHT]: Sweet treats and sweet dreams from The Colony!

FRIDAY

Most of Friday was spent right here! You can't beat this sunny & striped poolside setting at The Colony

[LEFT]: I'm always happiest by the sea, and these beautiful blue waters certainly put a smile on my face.
[RIGHT]: A sunset stroll along the beach.

SATURDAY

[LEFT]: First stop of the morning: Cafe 155 at The Colony (one of my favorite perks of this hotel!) to pick up food before heading to Wellington to watch polo.
[RIGHT]: Watching the Museum of Polo Hall of Fame Cup at International Polo Club Palm Beach.

Congrats to Colorado on the win!

[LEFT]: Pretty ponies getting ready for game time.
[CENTER]: My go-to slip on spring sandals (purchased these for the 2nd time this year after losing my 1st pair on a trip last summer πŸ˜”).
[RIGHT]: Meet Sain, USPA umpire and one of my favorite people in the world!

SUNDAY

[LEFT]: Arriving to IPC for the U.S. Open Polo Championship Sunday.
[RIGHT]: Hiding out between rain showers before the game... not a bad place to be stuck in the rain! IPC is one of the most beautiful venues.

[LEFT]: Field 1 just before the bottom dropped out of the sky... for the second time before the game started 🌧 !
[RIGHT]: Valiente vs. Daily Racing Form // Counting down the minutes until game time.

[LEFT]: Congrats to Daily Racing Form on the big win!
[RIGHT]: Found this lace dress (designed by one of my all time favorite brands) on sale a few weeks back and finally got to wear it for the big game! It also comes in a pretty pink color here.

MONDAY

[LEFT]: Last morning at The Colony!
[RIGHT]: Time to pack up. Definitely going to miss this bright yellow striped closet! The abundant amount of closet space in our room was another perk of this hotel.

[LEFT]: Quick stop at Cafe 155 at The Colony for lunch - chicken salad on a croissant with a lemonade was my go-to order for the weekend! So delicious.
[RIGHT]: Packing up and saying goodbye to my colorful room at The Colony. Not ready to leave yet!

[LEFT]: Spent the afternoon doing a little shopping and exploring on Worth Ave. (just around the corner from The Colony). One of my favorite stops was the beautiful Aerin store. Every display was picture perfect!
[RIGHT]: I'll take one of everything!

[LEFT]: Another favorite stop was the Stubbs & Wootton store on Worth Ave.
[RIGHT]: These shoes are a palm beach classic... the color, embroidery, and motif choices are endless!

[LEFT]: I could truly move in to the Ralph Lauren store. Not only are the clothes, shoes, and accessories beautiful, but the design and decor of the store itself is quite stunning.
[RIGHT]: Dreamy blue and white stripes in the Ralph Lauren dressing rooms.

[LEFT]: Tried on a few pairs of pretty Margaux flats/ sandals but couldn't decide on which pair I liked most! Do any of you have a pair of these!?
[RIGHT]: Bright colors, prints, and patterns at the Roberta Roller store.

Back to The Colony to pick up my bags before heading to the airport. No detail is overlooked at this hotel- floral wallpapers and pretty mirrors around every corner. πŸ˜

[LEFT]: Packed up and ready to head home!
[RIGHT]: Happy to see blue skies after a few storms. Back to sweet home Alabama!
