Wow, looking back at these pictures is reeeally making me miss the beach and wishing I was back in Seaside today. Before I left for spring break, Monkee's of Mountain Brook was SO sweet to gift me a couple items for my trip- this top and these sandals! They were the perfect items to slip on as soon as I got to the beach and walk to a delicious dinner at Bud and Alleys. Both are items I have already worn multiple times in the past week, and I know I will be wearing them again and again (and again!) throughout the spring/summer.

This top (similar) is such a fun take on a classic striped button down- the ties on the sleeves and pleated hem really add so much detail and interest to the design of it! It's hard to tell in photos, but the top is actually a thin black and white stripe pattern.. it shows up kind of gray in the photos. If you don't have a striped button down in your closet, I definitely recommend purchasing one asap. It is one of the most versatile items you can own!

I have had embellished sandals on my wishlist for months but haven't ever been able to decide on which pair to purchase, so I could not have been more excited when Monkee's was so kind to give me this pretty pair (similar). I am all about colorful shoes and accessories! These sandals take any outfit to the next level and are such a fun statement piece for spring and summer.
