With every new season comes a shift in shoes! I can always tell fall is really upon us once I begin switching out my sandals and espadrilles for booties, mules, and over the knee boots! Today I'm excited to share with you 5 of my top shoe picks for fall: over the knee boots, mules, booties, sneakers, and velvet heels.

Because boots, booties, and other cold weather shoes can be a little on the pricier side, I wanted to highlight some budget friendly (but still stylish!) options too.

I must say, these boots are totally worth the splurge (amazing quality, extremely comfortable, and will last years), but I would probably save on these cute booties. These mules are at the top of my wishlist and are an item I have been lusting after for months!
