6 SPRING TRENDS + SHOPBOP BIG EVENT

Fun fact: trend forecasting is one of my favorite things about fashion. It might be the inner nerd in me coming out, but I love the creativity and science behind it all. Even though the trends each season can seem so random and sometimes surprising, there is definitely a method to the madness. I think that’s one of the reasons I truly don’t mind scrolling through pages and pages of clothes online, because I love noticing the patterns and repeating motifs in all of the designs. I think it is so cool to see how thousands of different designers are all contributing to the bigger story of fashion. Trends also relate to the bigger idea that fashion, the clothing we wear everyday, does not stand alone from the rest of life. In contrast, life (the economy, current events, politics, faith etc) all affect the things that our eyes and senses are drawn to!
