I love this Velvet Heart dress for many reasons, but the most obvious reason is the color! The dusty rose / blush pink shade of this shirt dress makes me swoon... how gorgeous is it!? I love the slightly deeper and rich undertone of it that makes it feel more like a fall pink than a summer one (although I am sure I will be wearing this dress year round). Drop waist dresses like this one are always some of my favorites, because I love the extra bit of flow the extra ruffles adds to the design. Velvet Heart makes this pretty dress in several other colors and all are under $100 - see more here!

I paired the pretty pink dress with my go-to black booties (so comfy!) and black bag! To add a little pattern to the outfit, I layered on a gray jacket that I got last year from Zara. Unfortunately, it's no longer available, but I found a few similar ones here and here! Pink, gray, and black is a color combo you can never go wrong with :)
