top, skirt, earrings, and bracelets: by yours truly!
Similarly to Look 4, Look 5 was a combination of some of my fashion favorites: fringe, blush pink, and neutral colors. For Look 5 I wanted to create a skirt and top set, so I began sketching some ideas! I designed this little top with a tie at the waist and then began searching for the perfect fabric to construct it out of. I found a lightweight cotton fabric that almost felt like linen in the most PERFECT shade of blush pink and quickly got to work sewing. Next, I started on the skirt! Overall, it is a pretty simple design, so I knew I wanted to add some fun detail to it! Like I talked about yesterday with Look 4, I absolutely love love love the look of layered fringe, so I added two rows of fringe detailing to this skirt! The white fringe contrasted against the neutral linen skirt makes my heart sing! I absolutely love the neutral tones with the added fringe detailing for texture. I cannot wait to wear these two pieces all summer!
