It seems like all anyone is talking about (in fashion media) this week (or, really, for like the past 3 weeks) is … Coachella. I must admit, I have never taken a huge interest in festival season myself, but this year the fashion and style surrounding Coachella has really peaked my interest. I really love all the whimsical, floral and unique details of it, and I, of course, love any chance to play dress up! Since the festival officially starts tomorrow, I decided why not put my own spin on a “Coachella inspired” look. Or, I guess I could call this “What I would wear to Coachella!” This outfit is not only relevant for festival season though, because 70s inspired style, like bell-sleeves and bell bottom jeans, are definitely back in style! Both are big trends this season!

When I spotted these jeans on Shopbop, I immediately fell in love with the unique mauve/pink color of them (they also come in a more classic blue denim color here). They are super soft, and the pocket detailing on the front and back is really cute! This top is actually part of a two piece set (that I will probably be sharing on the blog too... stay tuned!), but I loved the way it paired perfectly with these jeans so I decided to wear it separately. Lastly, this neutral fringe bag has quickly become one of my favorite crossbody bags, and I love the the texture it added to this look!
