Leather and Lace + New Year's Giveaway #1 with Mignonne Gavigan

Happy Monday! It feels SO good to be back to blogging today and sharing my daily posts with you! New posts will be live on the blog each weekday from here forward! As much as I enjoyed the holiday break with friends and family and taking a little time away from the internet, I am so happy to be back and am so looking forward to all that 2017 will hold!

When picking out today's outfit, I started with these faux leather leggings that I have been wearing on repeat lately. They are a steal for under $50 and are SO comfortable. They are so easy to slip on and pair with a big sweater or tunic. I've worn them with everything from over the knee boots to sneakers and booties over the break. For the price, the material does not look shiny or low quality, and I could not recommend them more highly!

If you are still looking for a pair of booties to get you through the rest of winter (and wear year round), these black ones are my pick! I have had these for over four years, and they have held up so well through lots and lots of wear. They are SO comfortable and the design is really flattering on everyone. Also, this faux fur jacket was one of my very favorite purchases of 2016, and I just saw that it was restocked here! I love the bright color and bit of whimsy it adds to any outfit. I was so close to walking out the door wearing a black coat with this outfit, but I'm so happy this pink one caught my eye on the way out... I don't think this outfit would be the same without it!
