NYFW SS16 Illustrations Vol. 1

One of the greatest times of the year for all fashion enthusiasts is finally here- NYFW! Each year, this week brings so much excitement and anticipation. I am already in love with some of the SS16 collections! I definitely have a newfound respect for all the designers' and fashion labels' hardwork that goes into creating all of these garments. After learning more and more about the construction of fashion garments, I cannot begin to fathom all of the work that goes on behind the scenes to put on each of the amazing shows!

Some of the trends that I have picked up on so far include the following: African/ tribal influence, geometric prints, fringe, cargo-style pockets, gingham, and lots of florals! I cannot wait to see more of the designers' collections!
